This is a matching numbers Ferry Porsche Signature Edition Targa from 1976. Only 200 Signature Special Editions were made this year (100 coupes and 100 targas) and were the 1st 911’s of 1976. This one is #105 of 200 (the #5 Targa Signature Edition)
What distinguishes this Porsche from the others from this year is the special paint: platinum diamond metallic 944-9-3 (it has been repainted but you can still see the original color paint), the first 911 completely without chrome, special steering wheel with Ferry Porsche Signature, tweed door panels, and a wooden gear knob with Porsche crest.
This is in very nice condition 2-3 owner vehicle with the last owner owned it since 1987. Runs and drives great with documentation of ownership and servicing. No sign of any accidents. The gaps and seams are Porsche. Includes original tool kit and original owners manual. This is a unique opportunity to purchase a rare Porsche 911 that will continue to be a strong investment. This is a matching engine and transmission with COA. In 1992 the original engine was replaced with another 2.7 from 1976 but I have the original matching engine that goes with the car as well. You would receive two engines but the original more than likely needs to be rebuilt. The car is located in Salt Lake City Utah area but if needed I can pick you up from the airport and make this a very easy purchase. Do some research on these cars. Here are some links below with some SE’s that have sold. Gooding last January of 2017 put a concourse estimate of their car at 120-140K.

Not sure I’ve ever seen this spec 911 before. Intriguing even if it is a crap mid 70s car ; )
