This is probably the first Figaro in the USA. I purchased it in 2008 from the original owners in Japan. I put roughly 3500 miles on it over the past 10 years, and purchased it after having it serviced in Japan. It has received annual oil changes, new tires, new wires and plugs. Everything works except the analog clock, though I am told that could be easily fixed. I have the original stereo that came with it. I upgraded to an Alpine unit with bluetooth and focal speakers- many times better than the stuff that was included It has the middle tray accessory, and the factory floormats, all in pristine condition. It has been kept in a dry/heated garage the entire time and is 100% rust free. I am selling all my vehicles to make room for a house move and an adjustment to a simplier life with far fewer possessions. The A/C is ice cold, the suspension and brakes are like new, and the turbocharged 1 liter four cylinder runs like a swiss watch.
This car has its original paint, an interior that is pretty much perfect, and it has two or three tiny little spots on the paint that I would describe as tiny and hardly noticeable. If you want to research this car, there’s a guy called Duncan Imports in Virgina that has been on a buying spree in Japan for “any and all figaros” over the past couple years. My car is priced way below his nicest cars, and frankly, mine is nicer than any I saw last year on a visit I made. Use google to search that inventory.
I am pretty firm on the price, not in any real hurry, knowing that the right person will know what I’ve got and how original it is. I don’t need ‘help’ selling the car, and will not respond to people EXCEPT by phone or text. Don’t leave me any messages by craigslist e-mail, I won’t respond. Call me to discuss. It’s right hand drive so some experience from “that side” would be a help. This is the coolest “around town” convertible you’ll ever own, and it won’t depreciate a cent if you maintain it. Thanks for your time.
