THIS CAR IS BUILT FOR THE TRACK, NOT SHOW and is street legal, please don’t expect a show car with a complete interior and fancy paintjob.

Asking $19,500 but I’m selling to get a classic Mini. So ONLY CLASSIC MINI TRADES are possible. Preferably a clean highway cruiser and at least 1275 cc engine or VTEC. 1975 or older. MK 1 models preferred.

• 1600 cc DOHC 16 v Turbo Motor EFI
• 5 speed with locker atlas diff 3.89 gears
• Megan coilovers, fully adjustable front and rear
• HRE 3 piece rims, classic 505’s. Tires fairly new in the rear and 60% tread in front.
• Full roll cage cabin to trunk
• Sparco racing seats and 5 piece harness
• 1973 Capri rack and pinion steering and short axle crossmember (same as MK1 Escort)
• 1973 Capri brakes front and rear. Front disk, rear drum.
• Dual reservoir master cylinder
• 2.75″ down pipe and Magnaflow exhaust v-ban ran past rear diff.
• Sheepybuilt custom turbo kit with T3 Garrett and front mount intercooler.
• Turbo Smart waste gate and blowoff
• ACT Stage 3 clutch
• MegaSquirt ECM
• 1992 Merkur XR2 Capri motor rebuilt 10 months ago. About 5K miles since rebuild.
• Mazda Miata 5 speed transmission and intake.
• 460cc fuel injectors
• 8 gallon aluminum fuel cell
• Average 28-30 mpg

These cars are rare in the US. This particular Cortina was built by a well known Euro Ford builder in Southern California and can be driven on the street or the track. It cruises on the freeway at 65-70 easily and is very fun around corners and straightaways with the turbo currently set at 7 psi pushing a bit over 200 hp.
