962 Volvo P1800. Very early model, serial #3107. 4-speed with overdrive, very solid, excellent driver with rare air-conditioing. Rebuilt SU’s, compression is 155-170-170-160, no smoke or funny noises. Older paint, looks great at 15 feet. No cracks in the dash or glass. Upholstery and weatherstriping is in good shape. Photos show the only rust I could find. I bought the car out of Texas. Wire baskets with chrome wheels, not real wire wheels. California YOM plates. 123,700 miles, believed to be original based on some receipts that came with the car when I bought it one year ago. $15,000 obo, vintage Harleys considered in trade. John @

I’m interested in selling my 1962 Triumph TR3A.. Hagerty classic car insurance company has a value guide tool for what average cars sell for, please check for yourself. You will not loose any money by buying this car, by spring of next year it will increase another 5-7k. I own a vintage Porsche as well and they have just skyrocketed in price and these cars are equally if not more fun to drive. And the trend seems to be going the same way. It has had a older restoration on the body and the interior. The undercarriage is in great condition and drives very well. It has a new top as well. Manual 4 speed, no overdrive. The reason I am selling is that I have a large vet bill to pay and I chose my dog over my car. It has been a very fun car to drive around and nothing is better than a vintage British roadster on a beautiful spring or fall day.
The car has some small issues, the bumpers are a bit dented, the speedo does not work and the motor runs strong but leaks a little oil and would need a pan gasket and cam seal from what I heard from my specialist. Parts for these cars are still very reasonable in price so, it should make for a good winter project. I can send more detailed pics for interested buyers…I am firm on the price. I am in Vancouver, Canada and I will do what I can to help with the transferring of this vehicle. There is a simple video on importing to the US from Canada…search “CBP Video Import your automobile”….
No tire kickers, please, Thanks.
