One of a kind 1993 Euro import E34 M5 with a ultra rare 420HP aluminum 5.6L V12, S70B56 motor with a 6 speed manual Getrag 560G transmission, a UUC short shifter, Eisenman stainless exhaust and a Quaife limited slip differential. Front brakes are UUC 2-piece, 355 mm (14″) rotors and UUC 4 piston aluminum calipers. Rear brakes are UUC vented 328mm (12.9″) rotors and UUC 4 piston aluminum calipers. The suspension features EDCIII self leveling shocks, HR springs, updated sway bars and a strut tower brace. The exterior retains the euro clear blinkers, E code headlights and “Motorsport” door handles. In addition, the car comes with the very rare and desirable 17×8 forged Throwing Star wheels, including an extra full size wheel as a spare. The interior has manual leather sport seats, stitched leather center console and door skins. The original BMW 2″ trailer hitch is included. The tool kit is complete, including the euro safety triangle.

The custom driveline was hand built by Brett Anderson from Koala Motorsport in Cleveland OH in December of 2008 when the car had 73,057 miles. Currently, the car has 79,823 miles. The S70B56 V12 motor originally came out of a 850CSi. The 6 speed manual OEM BMW Getrag 560G transmission was NEW at the time of the build!!

The car performs flawlessly. All of the mechanicals are in VERY good working order. The clutch is perfect, the motor has no leaks, the AC works as it should, the suspension is firm and precise. Recent service includes, oil/filter change, coolant flush, brake flush, new radiator, new alternator, new tie rods, new sway bar links, alignment, new rear dog bones pitman arms, new front brakes and a new battery. Only known issue is the radio does not work due to what is believed to be a bad amplifier.

The diamond Swartz Metallic paint is in fair condition. The clear coat on the roof has deteriorated and needs to be repainted or perhaps wrapped in carbon fiber vinyl. The trunk lid has two spots where the clear is starting to break down. The hood is in decent shape. The doors, fenders and quarter panels show sings of clear coat wear consistent with BMW’s of this vintage. Overall the car represents well.

I have many high resolution photos I can send. In addition, I can do a FaceTime video call and walk around the car. The car has a clear Ohio title and is currently located in Rochester NY. Feel free to contact me if you have additional questions. Thank you, Tony. show contact info

The Porsche 928 was Among the Best Cars of the 80s

A Cheap 996 is Still a Good Deal

The Porsche 911 is the best example of skyrocketing classic car prices. Porsche 911s that were once as low as $14,000 are now scratching $40,000. Ones that were once $40k are racing towards $200,000 at least. Which is strange because the Porsche 911 is one of the most popular sports cars of all time, they […]

Hello I am selling a 2001 Audi TT quattro 6 speed. The TT is a 225 edition which there were only slightly over a 1,000 sold in the U.S. in 2001. The 225 comes with a bigger turbo than the regular tt and a 6 speed transimission instead of the 5 speed. The car is in great mechanical condition and pretty solid cosmetically. I have tried to provide detailed pictures of the exterior. The roof needs a new coat of paint. But there is no rust besides for two small spots on the roof. Car drives like new has new front and rear rotors, new brake pads all around, new clutch last year barely been driven since new clutch because it was stored in the winter, two new rear shocks and springs, as well as two new constant velocity drive axles, blue-tooth stereo, subs, new speakers, leather, heated seats and more. The car has 152k miles. The car is a great summer car. Wheels were stripped of paint, primed and repainted. Never seen a winter (was stored by other owner as well). I am asking 4200 or best offer, price is negotiable, I need to sell very soon as I received got a new job and will be moving. Any one interested can email me, call me or text me. Please if your not serious do not waste my time. The car is in good shape and was fun while I owned it. I am not looking to trade. Selling because I bought a new car and already have enough projects. Can contact through text, call, or email. Please do not offer me unreasonable amounts. I will not answer. I have been dealing with “well it’s this much in this state with similiar miles and blah blah blah” I know what the car is worth and to get a car from out of state you need to pay for shipping and title transfer and bunch of other stuff. Please be serious about buying the car I love it and would like to see it go to a good owner that will appreciate it. Thanks for looking!

Porsche Teases New Panamera

::cck::989
::/introtext::

Porsche release a video this week to tease the reveal of the next-generation Panamera luxury sedan. The video does not show the new Panamera at all, rather it builds anticipation for the reveal by recounting the revolutionary ideas that made Porsche what it is today, despite critics through history calling the ideas “madness.”

And that’s the main problem with the video, because there is nothing about a conventional luxury sedan with an unremarkable powertrain that could be considered “madness.”

Porsche has had revolutionary ideas in the past, ones that could still be considered today as extremely risky to say the least. It made a car with an air-cooled engine mounted at the back one of the most successful and best selling sports cars of all time. It was one of the first automakers to experiment with turbocharged engines for road cars. It made a hybrid-hypercar one of the most sought after vehicles on the market today.

But, that doesn’t mean everything Porsche does is extraordinary. This new Panamera will be nothing special. It will be a good car, no doubt. But, it will be forgotten in the annals of Porsche history, along with that stupid 2.0-liter turbo four Macan. Seriously, name an automaker that isn’t making a small, four-cylinder turbocharged crossover SUV.

MINI Reveals Cooper Seven

::cck::930
::/introtext::

This week, MINI unveiled the first special edition version of the new MINI Cooper called the MINI Seven, meant to underline the German car’s distinctive British character.

Available in both three and five door versions of Cooper, it is an “expression of premium characteristics and individual style.” The Seven name comes from the Austin Seven, launched in 1959, which was the first model nameplate of the classic Mini.

The key exterior features separating the Seven from plebeian MINIs are the Lapisluxury Blue (or an additional three colors), roof and exterior mirror caps in Melting Silver, 17-inch light alloy wheels in an exclusive MINI Seven Spoke two-tone design, MINI Seven door sill finishers, side badges with a MINI Seven logo, and hood stripes in Melting Silver with surrounds in Malt Brown optional. So in reality, it is indistinguishable from the normal car.

But wait, there’s more! The interior upholstery comes in Diamond Malt Brown with Piano Black interior surfaces, but customers will be able to option Malt Brown surfaces. A MINI Seven logo will be in the central instrument cluster.

All in all, BMW’s MINI played the part of a college-aged 328i owner who pulled off all the badges and swapped them for ones that say M3. We’ll see these on Craigslist in 14 years time outrageously asking $500 over what you would normally pay for them. We can’t wait!

up for sale is my 94 VW Corrado in rare Bremble metallic. This is a really clean car. Everything works, Ice cold A/C, very clean black leather interior, no rips or tears. Speed activated spoiler works as it should ( up at 55 and down at 14)

I’ve owned this car since 2010, but only put about 5k miles on it. I have too many cars and one has to go. Also just got a new PA inspection and emission. I also have service records dating back to 1996.
This is all I can this of, but I’m sure there is more!!!

$20000

I am selling my beautiful 1988 Porsche 928 S4 that I have owned for 12 years. This would be a sound investment for anyone. The car is beautiful inside and out. Two years ago I had it professionally repainted (same color) and it looks awesome. The interior is also in great shape with a few small imperfections: a few small horizontal cracks in the dash between the vents (see pictures), tear in the upholstery on the rear console cover, and a tiny tear on the passenger side arm rest, and driver’s seat bolster shows wear.

The only modifications to the car are a new chrome exhaust, and a Murf 928 supercharger that was installed about 7 years ago (performs great), and a competition clutch installed at the same time. The supercharger cost me about $6,000 plus installation (it’s a bolt on that you can certainly remove if you choose).

The only exterior flaws are: passenger mirror spring failed (doesn’t affect usability of the mirror), so the mirror doesn’t “spring” back if you manually turn it backwards flat to the car. And the sunroof (although operates just fine) gets scratched by something within the underside of the roof when sliding open and shut, so I don’t open it anymore since the car was painted because I didn’t want it to get scratched. I have not taken the sunroof out to examine why it gets scratched when opening and closing.
The A/C does not blow cold and hasn’t since I’ve owned it. Because I live in northern Minnesota and drive with the windows open on warm days, I never cared.
The car runs and drives beautifully. I don’t drive the car in the rain or snow. The car has been garage stored always. I have owned it for over twelve years and have put about 15K miles on it since I’ve owned it (and it’s never been out of commission). The timing belt and water pump have both been replaced twice since I’ve owned it (just routine maintenance, no mechanical issues). The car has always been serviced by the same local private and reputable mechanic. Call or text me if interested. Hagerty has this car in GOOD condition valued at $19,000 (without supercharger). I’m asking $20000. Call Dan if interested @ show contact info Thanks for looking.

Everything Wrong with the 944

::cck::829

Last summer, a 1987 Porsche 944 came under my care. Now, 1980s Porsches are solidly built; you can hear the sturdiness in the way the door clunks shut. But it’s still nearly 30 years old, so just a few things on it need of maintenance. Just a few. Here is everything that needs fixing on the 1987 Porsche 944.

  • Odometer is stuck at a pretty low mile for model year 91k
  • Gear linkage is wonky and needs replacement
  • A rubber bumper on the front needs to be remounted to be flush with the bumper
  • Electronically sunroof won’t open
  • May or may not be oil leaking from somewhere
  • Driver door window rattles alarmingly when the door is shut
  • Passenger door hinge creaks when open or closed
  • A faded paint spot on the roof needs to be fixed
  • Rear hatch release doesn’t function
  • Rear wiper flails wildly, if at all
  • Power adjustable mirrors won’t operate, just droop lower and lower
  • Front badge is loose and might fall off
  • Headlights blind oncoming traffic, need adjustment
  • Late 90s updated radio needs to be updated again
  • Rear view mirror is ready to fall off
  • Tires are nearly bald, need replacing
  • Wheels and steering need alignment

Plus all the other routine maintenance that needs to be checked and done at some point: belts, water pump, clutch, fluids, air filter, etc. None of this stuff is what you would call pressing mechanical issues, but it would be nice to see them fixed. Some people may say that all these issues outweigh the value of owning the car, and they’re probably right. But where is the fun in that?
