1980 Fiat 124 Spider 2000 2 door convertible. This car has under 50,000 original miles.
I just recently had a new head and engine rebuild installed and is running better than new.
I have upgraded the wheels and tires to 19″ Sparco wheels and G force Goodyear tires with less than 3,000 miles on them. New pads and upgraded slotted disc brakes. I have a 1982 Porsche 924 S2 Turbo that I haven’t been able to find the time to work on. This is the most sought after year out of the 931 family. The car needs a fuel pump, front blinkers, radio/speakers and clutch slave cylinder. The steering may also need some work. It has a new timing belt but I haven’t reinstalled the radiator or fan shroud so they are currently out of the car. They are included though. It also has a new battery, rotor, distributor cap, plugs, wires, drive belt and fuel filter. The tires have a lot of tread left them. The interior is in nice condition except for a few cracks on the dash and one seam on the seat is starting to pull apart. The exterior is in good condition except for some paint peel on the hood and a little scratch near the right rear wheel and front bumper. The value of the 924 turbo keeps climbing so this is a great investment. It also comes with a bag for the sunroof when it’s removed, roof rack and a bra for the front. The accessories alone are worth $300. The car out performs the 944NA and is comparable to the 911 of it’s time.

I am selling my beautiful 1988 Porsche 928 S4 that I have owned for 12 years. This would be a sound investment for anyone. The car is beautiful inside and out. Two years ago I had it professionally repainted (same color) and it looks awesome. The interior is also in great shape with a few small imperfections: a few small horizontal cracks in the dash between the vents (see pictures), tear in the upholstery on the rear console cover, and a tiny tear on the passenger side arm rest, and driver’s seat bolster shows wear.

The only modifications to the car are a new chrome exhaust, and a Murf 928 supercharger that was installed about 7 years ago (performs great), and a competition clutch installed at the same time. The supercharger cost me about $6,000 plus installation (it’s a bolt on that you can certainly remove if you choose).

The only exterior flaws are: passenger mirror spring failed (doesn’t affect usability of the mirror), so the mirror doesn’t “spring” back if you manually turn it backwards flat to the car. And the sunroof (although operates just fine) gets scratched by something within the underside of the roof when sliding open and shut, so I don’t open it anymore since the car was painted because I didn’t want it to get scratched. I have not taken the sunroof out to examine why it gets scratched when opening and closing.
The A/C does not blow cold and hasn’t since I’ve owned it. Because I live in northern Minnesota and drive with the windows open on warm days, I never cared.
The car runs and drives beautifully. I don’t drive the car in the rain or snow. The car has been garage stored always. I have owned it for over twelve years and have put about 15K miles on it since I’ve owned it (and it’s never been out of commission). The timing belt and water pump have both been replaced twice since I’ve owned it (just routine maintenance, no mechanical issues). The car has always been serviced by the same local private and reputable mechanic. Call or text me if interested. Hagerty has this car in GOOD condition valued at $19,000 (without supercharger). VIN: VRGY60601145 So if you want to know what it is like to own an “almost new” 1988 Nissan Safari this will be as close as you can get without the invention of a time machine. Truck comes with extra brake rotors, brake pads, air filters, turn signal lenses, electrical switches, tie rod ends and new front automatic hubs. I also have down a used third row seat that was used with these truck if you want more seating capacity. Just had new pads / rotors installed by Landcruisers NW as well as water pump rebuild and thermostat replacement. This truck is good to go for many many miles. Body has a few scratches from other peoples doors or slight rock chips from my trips over to central Oregon, but otherwise it is in fantastic shape.

Only flaw that I am aware of:

Bent rear bumper and quarter panel on passenger side. Previous owner backed into the car in a parking lot which bent the bumper and broke the tail light. The tail light was replaced with a new one. See photos
Otherwise this truck is ready to go anywhere. Free and clear Oregon title and registration (good till 2018) in my name, legally imported and completely legitimate truck.

Everything Wrong with the 944

Last summer, a 1987 Porsche 944 came under my care. Now, 1980s Porsches are solidly built; you can hear the sturdiness in the way the door clunks shut. But it’s still nearly 30 years old, so just a few things on it need of maintenance. Just a few. Here is everything that needs fixing on the 1987 Porsche 944.

  • Odometer is stuck at a pretty low mile for model year 91k
  • Gear linkage is wonky and needs replacement
  • A rubber bumper on the front needs to be remounted to be flush with the bumper
  • Electronically sunroof won’t open
  • May or may not be oil leaking from somewhere
  • Driver door window rattles alarmingly when the door is shut
  • Passenger door hinge creaks when open or closed
  • A faded paint spot on the roof needs to be fixed
  • Rear hatch release doesn’t function
  • Rear wiper flails wildly, if at all
  • Power adjustable mirrors won’t operate, just droop lower and lower
  • Front badge is loose and might fall off
  • Headlights blind oncoming traffic, need adjustment
  • Late 90s updated radio needs to be updated again
  • Rear view mirror is ready to fall off
  • Tires are nearly bald, need replacing
  • Wheels and steering need alignment

Plus all the other routine maintenance that needs to be checked and done at some point: belts, water pump, clutch, fluids, air filter, etc. None of this stuff is what you would call pressing mechanical issues, but it would be nice to see them fixed. Some people may say that all these issues outweigh the value of owning the car, and they’re probably right. But where is the fun in that?

Up for sale is my beloved MR2. I purchased this car in 2007 with 119k miles. As it currently sits, it has 156k miles. The engine had all major service done back in 2012. It has been a very fun car to drive, however I have one too many cars and this car hasn’t been driven in over three months.

Car is not perfect; as it has it’s fair share of scruffs, scratches, chips, etc. and is priced according to the condition, market, and rarity. Not many ’88 MR2s S/C, T-Tops, and C52 Transmission, out there in this type of condition. Especially for being a CA car it’s entire life.

Car was purchased in Northern California. I registered the car (along with all of my cars) to NH once I purchased a home out there (way cheaper to register a vehicle out there). Buyer is responsible for all CA registration fees, smog check, etc.

Very hard to find 1988 325ix 2 door manual AWD E30. 186k low mile for the age. runs good shift good, very clean inside and out. wiht the the powerful 2.5L inline six and 2 limit silp diff this car is unstopable in the snow. this car is loaded with power windows power minors and a power sunroof m-tech streeing wheel, sport seat and a lot more.
the car is in very good condition, just inspeacted mechanically very good AWD works like a dream, engine pulls hard the car love to run. the factory paint still shines and the inside is clean with some wear from the years no creak on dash
I have the orangle owner’s manual and the service book as well as the BMW CCA book.
the car have been very well taken care of and a lot of work have been done and a lot money spent to keep it in top running condition
the car have new break line, fule line, new clutch
new front end links and tie rods, resent battery and a lot more

1982 Ferrari Mondial Coupe with rare sunroof option. This is pretty rare color combination of Silver and Red Interior.

Car is very clean and have loads of service history/records. Has tool kit and jack. If you would prefer the original wheels I have those and would be happy to put them on the car and keep the chrome ones.

Car had its timing belt service in 2014. Ready to drive across the country.

I’m not a Ferrari expert and honestly don’t want you picking my car to pieces. If you like the car and think its worth the money I’d love for it to find a new home. If you have an interesting trade let me know. I don’t have to sell the car and honestly hate to see it go. I just have too many cars/projects.
